Badhaai Do Story Line:
Sumi, a female business owner living in the small town of __ and her best friend Shardul, who is also a fellow veteran entrepreneur, knew from the start that they wanted to have their own businesses. Unfortunately, living in a not-so-progressive village where it was understood that everyone had the right to fall in love with anyone regardless of their gender was not something the locals approved of.
The pair decided therefore to move to New York City where it was understood that everyone had the right to discover their talents and chase after them wherever they may lead.
